She went on to study for a B.A hons in the Drawing and Painting at Edinburgh college of Art, where her main disciplines were Tapestry and Printmaking. She spent her time at E.C.A experimenting and trying to find her individual style. She has spent her time in Madrid, Milan, Bonn, and lately Santa Pola, Gran Alacant Spain, experimenting and working towards what she feels is a body of work which is both original and exciting. She has always used colour, pattern, line and texture in her work. She is also a keen photographer, the camera she often substitutes for a sketch book, and she is interested in the future in experimenting with tools such as graphic tablet. Her latest work explores the idea of stains. We live in a man-made world and often nature leaves its mark. To some it is a blight on this urban landscape, to others it is a mark of beauty which reinvents the surface in which it manifests. The artist through a lengthy and often slow process explores this idea of the stain and how beauty can be created from chaos.
